Gestrand en vlot gebracht

Due to an engine failure the "Knarrlagsund" ran aground at the beach of the northern tip of the Strohauser Plate on the lower Weser.

The ship had sailed from Brake on Sep 18, 2014, at 6.45 p.m. and was bound for Bergen.

The water police Brake secured the grounding site with the launch "W4".

Two tugs were able to pull the ship off and towed it to Bremerhaven where it arrived on Sep 19 at 12.40 p p.m.

It docked in the Kaiser Port 2 at 10.30 a.m. where divers surveyed the hull and an investigation into the grounding was launched. Bron Vesseltracker
